비록 많이 보지도 않았고 깊이 알지도 못하지만, 나는 피너츠의 캐릭터들이 좋다.

특히 마시와 페퍼민트 패티를 좋아한다.
지적이고 얌전하지만 강단있는 마시와, 활달하고 에너지 넘치며 속이 깊은 페퍼민트 패티.
그들은 나의 이상형에 근접한 캐릭터들이다.

예전 투니버스에서, 피너츠 만화를 영어교육용으로 편집한 방송 '하이 찰리'를 방송했었는데
이 곡은 오프닝으로 쓰였던 곡이다.
아주 경쾌해서 마음에 쏙 들었으나, 그 후 몇년간 이 노래를 들을 수 없었다.
피너츠와 관련 있는 노래라는 것과 곡조 외에는 기억이 나지 않았기 때문에..

그러다 근래 갑작스레 머리속에 떠오른 Let's have a party.
이것으로 검색하니 바로 찾을 수 있었다.

그리고 계속 이 노래만 듣고 있다.
즐겁고 유쾌하면서도 아련한 느낌에 젖은 채로.
